Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

May I never forget what I had to go through to get these baffles.
the driving, the dissembling of a 55g tank, the multiple trips and sheets from Lowe’s and the slightly more expensive Home Depot, to my kids lacerated femur. It’s surprising the towel wasn’t thrown in. Can’t pick your passions they say.

Oh man. Sorry to hear it was a pain. Sorry to hear about your kids leg! The DIY stuff is sometimes more trouble then its worth, I've found, on more occasions then I care to share.

It was horrific but my wife being a nurse saved the day. I threw out the other end table and scrapped what I could.
Much Love Growmie!

This last month has about sucked. We're gunna pull through like superstars tho.

Starting to doubt if I even need that middle fixture. Wish I had a par meter. 290w of LEDS over a 4’ tank LETSSSGOOOO!

image.jpg
If that's a frag system, I may use the middle fixture off centered to one side giving you a lighting intensity gradient which will be easier to keep mixed corals happy.

My ocd wouldnt allow to go off center. I bought the lights used a couple months back so I’m just working with what I have handy. Will need to set a goal for the other tank’s lights. Thinking a couple ai primes would make a good lps set up.

Pocci is still alive, no red flags testing the waters. Was checking for contaminates like when my son dumped a cup of tap water in the sump. Or those bits of fluorescent spray paint that speckle the bottom of the tank…..where did that orange fluorescent spray paint contaminate come from you ask…..

….I haven’t the faintest clue
