You have such big colonies! Looks great. How do you have so much coraline? Your tank looks so old and full. How old is it? Keep doing what your doing. By the way, what do you do? Dosing? etc?

Thanks. I wish i didnt have so much coralline, but i think part of it is due to the lower light. Coralline thrives in this system. When i had it as an SPS system i didnt get much coralline growth. One reason is i had another 400w of lights, and now with most of the SPS out there isnt as much competition for calcium, magnesium, etc. The tank has been running for 4 years now, but some of the corals have been with me for over 6 years. I run a calcium reactor, I also have a kalkreactor and i do 25g water change every two weeks

Awesome update. Man you have some beautiful colonies. Makes me wish I didn't have a whole bunch of little frags.

Here is a listing of equipment that keeps the system running
RO/DI unit, left is freshwater 55g barrel, center is saltwater 55g barrel, right is kalkreactor tied into a float switch for water evap replacement

Closed loop plumbing, the pipe in the wall goes to the garage to do easy water changes and hold the line to the kalkreactor

Calcium reactor and remote deep sand bed (ie 5 gallon bucket filled with fine sand and very slow water movement through it)
