It was day time so not the best. Sometimes I wish I had a black background (LOL)
But things are doing well.

I have been taking fish pictures for days now and only came up with these.
More or less presentable... I present you... damsels

And this one I took for the coral, but it has a damsel head in it.

Great Damsel Photos. I bet that took a few tries to get those perfect shots.

Full Tank Shot is Awesome!!
Things look really healthy.

What's that Tall Purple Coral (on right side) Leaning Left? Nice Purple Color and Great PE.

Another question since I never noticed this before. You have Glass Bottom and it's covered in coralline.
Does it ever Flake on you?
Mine Glass Bottom was getting more and more Coraline coverage (end to end), and then it started breaking apart/Flaking (just recently...Wonder if that is just normal, or not)

Thanks Wally.
The purple coral is a photosynthetic gorgonian. I thought it would not grow at all, but I noticed that the base is not completely encrusted and after fragging some for a fellow reefer, it nicely repaired the cut area.
I do not see much growth in length, but believe it does.
I like it as it brings a little movement in the tank, together with the BTA.
If more would be available here, I would add them without doubt.

The bottom is indeed glass and used to be covered completely in thick coraline algae.
The urchin however keeps this now in check.

Ahh janci,

A gorgonian!!! That explain the super fuzzy look.
Hard to tell in a photo since a video would show the movement. That would be some serious PE if it was a SpS. I have one in my non sps tank and I love the waving around accent to the tank.

Interesting you mention about your coraline glass bottom. It could be mine gets too thick and then underneath is doesn't get light and dies causing fractures, while the top layer is still alive an purple.

I just got a tuxedo urchin and put him in my frag tank as a trial. I didn't want him in my DT since long time ago when I had a urchin in a coraline rock tank, he left white tracks where he traveled and ate coraline off rocks.

However if he helps with my bottom breakup, by keeping it thin and alive, that would solve my breakup. He would have plenty to eat on bottom, so less off the rocks.

I now will put him in.

THanks for the urchin tip. Might be just perfect solution I need.

Great growth from the last FTS I recall.

Is that stylophora that the yellow damsel head is in?

I am not in the fragging game, but if someone asks, I cut, glue and give away.
I love how for each polyp, there is one "arm" longer than the rest and reaches out.

Added this monti last weekend. One of the first plating montis in the tank. Dipped it and in it went.

The blue/purplish tips on this one are getting longer and longer.
Meaning, growth is good

Oh yes, the clam is still here

Beautiful. They all have great colors, but that first one, wow!
