Father is arranging drinks.
Well a Big Congratulations!!!!

I've been decoupled from your thread so long, your Family Just grew with a Handsome Healthy Baby Boy!
Glad to hear the Mom. is doing well.

Hope this post hooks me back up to your thread notices. (Seems to be the trick).

One again... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Tank and Corals looking great. (BTW, my notices have been restored to your thread :) )

Love your Stags. Great growth and extensions.

I see the clowns have hosted the BITA. I'm so Jealous, since I put in a BITA with two Captive Bred Piscaso Clowns and no luck so far (waiting patiently)

And? Did the calculations work out for the alkalinity?
Which reagent do you use for your tester?
Never noticed this question. I was using my Hanna Alk Tester. I haven't built the doser yet.....
I gave up on the Frag tank for now. 3 Tanks is just too much work unless I automate things more. Working on that.

Well, it has been a while since the last update.
Life has become very busy in the past months.
That, together with the possible move by the end of the year, I took a drastic decision and sold most of my equipment, all corals and fish.

I will not start a reef tank for a while, but am tempted to go freshwater.
My next destination will be Vietnam where I have options for both, fresh and salt water.
Freshwater is in the winning for the moment, being more relaxing and forgiving than saltwater.
Time will tell.

So this is how this thread comes to an end.
I am sad, but relieved at the moment. It's a good timing to stop.

I am sad to see you go. You have been a big support to my thread and I have always appreciated all the "likes".
If you convert to freshwater you should make a thread about it like D2mini did. I would like to follow along.

Good luck on the move

Thank you

Sad to see this, but excited for your new endeavor in life. And I would definitely follow a fw build if it was done by you.
Cheers on a great ride Janci. Salute.

It will be an endeavor. The biggest issue is now convincing my wife that Vietnam is a nice place.

Thank you Bubba.
Your corals have always been an inspiration to me. Good luck with the new tank.
More likes are in the making. LOL

I found D2mini on the freshwater forum already. This world is small as well.

Sad to see Jan. Good luck in Vietnam. I am sure we will see you around.

The trhead just came to an end. Reefing will always be a part of me.
And as far as I have been reading, Vietnam has a pretty big reefing community... who knows...

Sad to see this end, thanks for the journey and good luck with whatever you do in the future. :)

Thank you Najer, good luck with your upgrade

We do hope you stick around mate!! :) All the best to you and your family mate and we look forward to any updates :)

Oh Wrangy, I will not leave you alone with all these other reefing animals!

Janci,
Sad for the breakdown. Your reef's scape was my favorite.
Wish you the best in your travels, and please keep us posted.
Freddie

Thank you for all the help in the past years, Freddie.

Thanks to all of you.
The sadness has already converted in more relieve... a friend was texting me yesterday some pictures of dinos in his tank and asking what he should do. The only thing I was thinking at that moment was: "Glad that this is not going to happen to my tank very soon!" LOL

I started a new thread for the planted tank. I'll be using the same setup with a new display tank.
Anyone who is interested can follow there.

Thank you for everything!

Keep on reefing!!!

I’m sad to see the tank packed up mate but you achieved so much with it in just a short couple years. Something to be very proud of!

Glad to hear you’re sticking around here and I’ll follow the freshwater system to see what amazing tank you come up with there.

Good luck if and when you move to Vietnam!

Good look on the move Jan and I hope all goes well

I didn’t see this news coming at all, but the planted tank sounds exciting. I know some of them are beautiful
