Is there a test I can do to verify that the water is safe for my fish? In case something was added that I’m not aware of? The two chemicals I’ve used to clean have been vinegar and bleach. Vinegar for everything except the live rock. The suds do go away quickly when the pump is off.
I’m using the drain setup that is recommended by the manufacturer. It’s not a siphon drain and it does allow air into the drain from the DT surface. If I replace the overflows with a siphon style overflow that would likely eliminate the bubble issue.
