I think my Golden Gate Galaxea is growing flesh back!
IMG_20230309_144601468.jpg

At least I hope that's what it is. This was all just dead skeleton a couple of weeks ago. New heads have been growing and now this is starting to cover the old skeleton.
Crazy how resilient coral can be when we think they are dead! Awesome this definitely looks like new growth

I had to push the Riptide delivery back a week. I realized I'm out of town next Wednesday and Thursday so getting coral on Thursday isn't a good idea.

Those terrify me. They can seriously topple rock.
He's knocked a couple loose but not too bad. He's nowhere near as destructive as the Purple Pincushion. Stupid thing picks up my Gonis and Acros and carries them around. I need to get him a Viking hat.

I had one in my Work Desk system until I decided to try a chocolate chip starfish in this tank... the starfish killed and ate the urchin, then died.
Now I'm on the lookout for a good opportunity to pick up a variegated urchin or maybe a tuxedo urchin for this system, as they are likely better algae eaters (though I hope they never get to eating the coralline algae).

My LFS had a Halloween Urchin a couple of weeks ago. I want one but not for $50.
