If I have to plumb in a second sump for overflow protection, here's my thoughts so far.

I'm pretty sure that the second sump on the right is going to be a frag tank rather than a Fuge, but I guess we'll see!

The plan looks nice. I do like the idea of a frag chamber.

I hate plumbing.
I hate the idea of drilling the sumps and was considering dual 1.5" overflows but everyone says drill it... I don't want a catastrophe but I don't want to crack the sump drilling it.

Totally drill it. Or get a larger sump and set the frag up seperately.

So I have a $50 to Biota. I'm thinking about getting a second Hector's Goby and putting it in the frag tank sump for some algae control. Good idea or bad idea? It's going to be a small tank so definitely not going to be room for a tang. Only thing is Hector's are supposed to eat hair algae but mine spends an awful lot of time sand sifting instead...

Just got home from vacation last night. I was trying to decide what I wanted to do for pods for the tank. Reefstache just notified me on Facebook that I won $50 to Algaebarn. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to set up a pod farm and buy some local phyto to feed or if I'm going to raise phyto and then setup a small pod farm... Decisions decisions.

Ok, I'm hoping to start pulling everything out this morning and setting it up in the backyard patio for some leak testing. Going to try it with just the RS200 sump for now since it's rated for a 125-225 gallon tank. We shall see! I'll probably still drill a second acrylic tank and install a frag tank. Who knows. Pictures if I remember!

So I didn't have a chance to dig out the other 125 - it's currently holding the 90. I'm going to try to start getting it out tomorrow evening after work. I just realized I have to cut some bracing bars out of the stand. We overbuilt it entirely. I'll cut out two of the braces and that should give me enough room for the sump and frag tank.
