I just put this cherry stand together today, can’t wait to finish the doors and trim this week , after keeping just about everything except for sps, I’m setting this one up as an eel and predator tank with some palys and macro algae

That looks great! I'm planning a cube stand also. Actually very similar to yours. Would you mind posting all sides and inside as well?

Looking good Tony. What kind of eel are you looking at? Make sure you have a tight fitting lid on that bad boy.

I’m hoping to get a zebra Moray, in addition to my jeweled moray , I also plan to transfer over my 15 year old marine beata , which I’ve kept in about 10 tanks in the last 14 years and a tusk , and a few more..........

I have never done one without a center brace to accommodate a sump.

I make a 2” x 4” frame inside, on edge that will span the load underneath that I put a 2 x 4’s in the corner for a 150 cube, also the top is covered and three-quarter plywood. And then skinned in three-quarter cabinet grade plywood

I made this a few years ago, I would leave out the Home Depot Circle in the square trim unless you really like that

I get something a little more modern

Thanks for the kind words, occasionally I do post on that show off thread but this one’s for me, I’m super happy with how it came out , Its all cherry Plywood , cherry top wood and doors and Brown mahogany general finishes gel stain , then four coats of gloss lacquer clearcoat that just pop,and I going to set the tank up soon ,

want to buy more fish and coral LOL

Have you had any long term luck with the red gracillaria on the left there Tony?

I'd like to grow that in the 40 Gallon Fuge of the large system I am building now, but have never had success growing it previously.

I don’t know how I even got that, it was living in my 26 bow front for about a year and by accident I kept breaking it off and it kept regrowing. I then I set up a 75 gallon tank , in a hurry .snd it’s just sprouted to a huge pile , that tank was neglected,
now I have some of the 95 Wave and this tank I’ll see how it goes I think it likes dirty water
