I found a BRAND NEW Red Sea Reefer 750 XXL about 4 hours away of where I live and they were giving a great deal with a bunch of goodies! The drive and work to get it back home was worth it!

This was the tank at the original owner's home. He started to set it up about 1 year ago but never finished starting the system.

I took my dad's mini van to load everything!

It took 4 of us with suction cups just to bring the tank to the van.

Loaded!

All packed up and ready to go!

The tank made it back safe and sound! My dog, Teddy, was extra curious this time [emoji6]

Shot of the Reefer Room, note that never let the tank sit on bare floor as I did not notice about the built in bulkheads at the bottom of the 600lbs tank. Luckily they did not break on me and are still in tact.

I started curing my old live rocks (they were sitting in saltwater) to make sure they don't leech PO4 and other stuff. So far so good! Don't mind the mess! I am redoing this side of the fish room soon!

Wow DarkTang , thought id check your thread out after you posted on ours,

I'm genuinely envious of your setup I wish UK houses were larger and I'd kill for a garage/basement/man cave fish room!

Definately one to follow.

Subscribed.

Thanks :D slow and steady!

Cleaned. Cleaned. And cleaned again etched the concret and primed twice. I am waiting for my 2 part epoxy to paint the floor. I learned from doing it the first time that I didn’t clean and prepped enough and I only used Home Depot 1 part epoxy. This time I am doing it right!

Looks great! Did you sand the reefer 750 stand before repainting? How do you feel it turned out close up?

No sanding was needed. I just did about 5 coats [emoji23] it feels good
