Following along. I’m also looking at PA tanks or an Innovative Marine EXT. I’ve heard about some noise issues with the PA overflow. Have you had any issues ?

The cycle is coming along. Its processing the Ammonia just fine, shouldn't be to much longer.

I have an IM150 INT and it 100% noise-free (to me) - the DB meter clocks it at 38dB-A stationed 3inch above a < 500gph drain.

Sorry I missed your message here. I am not having any issues with noise. It does take time to dial it in, which is normal for all overflows. It is very quiet.

Ammonia dropped to 0 yesterday so time to begin adding some fish. I started adding 3 Mollies. I added a small Gold Dust, a small Dalmatian and a large Dalmatian. They have been doing great so far.
For those of you that don’t know. These are fish that can be in Fresh, Brackish or Salt water. They are a very hardy fish and also a utilitarian fish as they are great with algae control.

Need ideas of fish to stock tank... what do you recommend?

I already have a pair of clowns and a blue tang.
Have you thought about Lyretail Anthias? Ive had them in the past and they were great. Theyre active, have great colors, and are pretty hardy for Anthias. I also had and would recommend multiple Yellow Tail Damsels, or Azures. Im figuring my fish list out for my 150 and I think I prefer many small fish over just a handful of larger ones.

Following this one for sure, beautiful tank!

Love the idea of a pair of leopard wrasse, YE Kole tang, agree on the anthias they are awesome...and who knows what else, so much room for activities! The wrasse and the Tang are beautiful but also have a job which I always enjoy.

Did you have to change any of the bulkheads that came with the tank? Im looking to get the 48" or 60" here pretty soon and it comes with the flexible plumbing but was going to change it to hard pipe instead. Just wanted to plan ahead. Tank looks great.
