Will the Hydra 26 fit using the 16" end plates? I have the standard 18" end plates, but the fixture is over an 18" tank (standard 75g). It would be nice if I could pull the t5's in just a little bit... If I'm not mistaken the Hydra is right at 5 3/8". Not sure what the gap would be with the 16" end plates, and honestly I don't even know how they fit in the 18" as I still have them on my 40B.

Good Morning, not sure that would be an option, yet. We have the 16", 18", 19.5" and 23.25" fixture options.

Just to let you know even though the fixtures are physically 18" wide there are two channels on the front and back that are 1.75" wide and they hold the ballast. So in reality there is only around 15" of lighted area under the fixture.

Hope that helps.
