1 Extreme Davinci clownfish
1 Banggai Cardinalfish
1 Mandarin Goby

CuC/inverts:
10 throcus snails
4 nassarius snails
8 hermit crabs
2 halloween crabs (in the refugium, they were vandalizing corals/scape)

Nitrates 1-2
PO4 0-0.04

Evening

tank looks great. Good job taking care of the mandarin. Not the easiest guy to take care of. CuC seems nicely stocked as well.

keep updating

That's awesome! My LFS just talked me into one as they could obviously see how much I love 'em. They swayed me against all of the horror stories I've read of them Always starving to death... LFS said to just supplement with extra feedings if I think it's hungry. Sorry it's kind of off your main topic of your entire reef tank thread, but I'd love to hear out your successful experience with yours! I totally nerd out on the details....

I believe the “won’t last long” is mainly because of the challenges on guaranteeing their proper nutrition. I have never seen it eating.. I assume it happens at night, I just have plenty of trochus snails and I bet their baby snails (quite a few end up in my refugium/overflow) are delicious food for them..

Little update, I added a FR-S aquamaxx GFO/Carbon reactor.. much easier to keep phosphate in check with this. Everything looks good at the moment, still waiting for the GHL IONDirector, hope they release it soon!

Added 2 scarlet hermit crabs, an halloween crab and 4 more trochus snails.. this time they are black instead of the classic whitish/gray ones (never seen these before!).. fun video of one of them cleaning a shell like an ice cream cone attached!
