First and foremost I'd like to thank the following reefer brothers in no specific order: Travis (LeoLionFish), Chris (Dowtish), Jay (SmyrnaReefer), Bill (Poolkeeper), and Rick (mixer911). If I have left you off it was unintentional.

The tank is a 180 RR perfecto with dual overflows and it will house primarily aggresive fish such as tangs and triggers, as well as puffers, butterfly, anthias, angels and maybe an eel.

This is the sump. It is a 40 breeder that Chris and I both put baffles in. This is why I said kinda for sump DIY.

I went with 63 CREE LEDS, 40 royal blue and 23 cool whites. I put them on aluminum u channel and bought the solderless connecters for them. They also came with CARCLO optics with optic holders. The fix

ture will be put into a canopy but it is only 60X24 instead of the full 72 inches.

Yea yea Chris. Stand pics r coming. I've got the doors done except I have to router the edges. Authors don't like for anyone to read their work before it's done. Artists don't let anyone see their unfinished work. Lol

The stand is going to be pretty basic. The frame is just 2x4 pine and then it will be wrapped in 1/4 inch oak ply.

I added the trim which is in the previous pic. You can see where the blade for my jigsaw ripped through a bit but that's nothing a little sanding can't clean up.

The rails are purposely long so that I can cut off the excess to get a more precise length. Once I get the router on it I will show you the finished piece. I'm currently working on the canopy so that I can mount the LEDs in and get them wired up. Once i do that I can put the drivers inside and make it all clean.
