Huge shout out to the Glass Cages team. My custom 180 gallon Glass Cages build is finally here and it was worth the wait! Their entire team demonstrated top notch customer service throughout the entire build and delivery process. I will definitely purchase from them again. This tank is absolutely gorgeous and Glass Cages exceeded all of my expectations. I have a long way to go before set up is finally completed, but now the real fun begins! Most of my equipment will be here on Thursday. I hope to start plumbing this weekend unless a prescheduled surgery delays things. I'll be taking my time on things either way. More pictures to come!

  • 180 gallons / 72" L x 18" W x 31" T
  • Low Iron Glass
  • External Coast to Coast rear overflow!
  • Starboard bottom and seam guards
  • Trigger 44 Sump

Beautiful tank! Excited to see it wet!

The coast to coast overflow looks super nice too, gonna have to contemplate that setup for my next tank.

Congrats, fellow Glass Cages owner! Very sweet tank. (I still recall the thrill of when my tanks arrived.)

If you happen to go FOWLR, we have our own R2R Forum now. :)

I curious how you decided on those tank dimensions (18" deep 31" tall) as they are not very common to be so narrow and tall? Fish only?
Primarily a predator tank wIth live rock and possibly some minor corals, but the focus is on fish. Needed it 18" deep and 72" long to fit the existing beefed up stand that I already had. 31" seemed the tallest i could reasonably go and it fills that side of the room nicely.

Been crazy busy and taking things slow with the set up. This has definitely been a lot of work. I figured I was long overdue for some update pictures. I finally have water moving through it! I still need to clean up all the wiring and start programing the Hydros devices. Then it's on to stocking! ! !

Looks awesome! Can you show some photos of the overflow plumbing?

OK how has no one commented on the AT-AT in the tank?!!! Please tell me its staying in there?!!
Lol! I hadn't noticed them. I was looking online at side profiles of Star Destroyers today because I was considering using Marco shelf rocks to make something look similar to a Star Destroyer.
