Thanks MartinM,

For flow I’m mounting Tunze stream 3’s on one end and have them on at random flow settings.

Im not gonna have a bunch of rock in display and will only have a small amount of corals so they can fully grow out.
I can't picture how this would work. The stream 3 cannot be articulated like a turbelle pump. It's a super powerful pump and if you use the flow rectifier it should have no problem pushing water along the 10' length... but only at the edges of the tank. Since you have 5' depth, you might consider 4 of the 6255 mounted on the back wall pushing towards the front. But again, I might not understand your plans here.

forgot to mention my kitchen island is 10 feet long by 4 feet wide. I took some pics to give some sort of size reference, my tank is 10x5

hard to imagine having a glass tank this size. I’d definitely go acrylic… hope all works out well for you. going to be a great build.
I’ve never been a fan of acrylic unfortunately. Glass tanks are my fav! I’m sure there are pros and cons to both, but ultimately starphire glass was the clear choice for me and this build.

With covid delays, my floors are delayed had to push back tank delivery, smh…. Settling in new home for now.

Thinking about moving my current grow out / experiment lighting tank but don’t want to disrupt a good thing until I’m ready and new system is running.

This is an insane build. I just moved my buddies 84”x32”x28” miricles tank made of all 3/4” glass. Unbelievably heavy compared to my 120”x38”x28” acrylic tank made using 1” thick material. How thick is the glass they used on yours? I can’t imagine moving a tank your size made of glass! So looking forward to seeing this set up.

I'm with you I had a 225 acrylic and always regretted it. Too hard to clean and too easy to scratch. I am now a glass only guy.
