This is crazy man! Definitely along for the ride. :D:cool:
Thanks James_O

I saw it for first time in person yesterday and thought to myself.. oh boy!

Pictures don’t give the full effect of the actual size and height. There is the cat on top of stairs for somewhat of a reference point.

Next on list is to level out and align foam board under tank.

Next steps after that
Plumbing to sump, and returns.
Water test for leaks.
Stand facade.
Hang lights.
Aquascape
Sand, salt, RO/DI water.

Hopefully have this thing up and running around thanksgiving time next month.

Tank sidelined for last 60 days as I’ve been looking into different fishroom ideas. Small closet is very tight and would like a lot more room to work in.

Been stuck here at this stage for quite some time. :(

On another more positive note, found out about Abyzz AFC150 flow Cannons for circulation for use in large home aquariums and looks like that’s the route I want to take.

Cost, power consumption, flow output, and its super sleek look. I would only need two pumps for the system. I would be using a lot less energy and solve all my flow issues, easier to maintain only two flow pumps. If one goes down, the other has enough power to keep things going for extended periods of time. It also has a waterproof magnet to place on overflow panel as an option.

Anybody have videos of this pump in action?

I have been looking at these pumps as well but I don't think they have been released yet. Looks like a nice compact package. Another option would be the Panta Rhei ECM63 Hydro Wizard. I recently picked up an ECM 42 Pro at a show and it is an impressive little pump so I am sure its bigger brother is also going to move some massive amounts of water.

Man, that’s a dream tank if I’ve ever seen one. Awesome stuff.

you’ll get the fish room stuff figured out! Just remember what you’ll have at the end of this journey!
