I have a 60g 24” cube and currently have an oceanrevive t247 that I want to upgrade. I currently have 1 ai prime HD just sitting around and am going to do a trade for either another Ai Prime or the Ai 26 Hd. Which would be better the 2 primes or single AI 26

Personally, I'd go with two Prime HDs because you can space them a little farther apart and get a bit more even coverage. That said, that tank is pretty deep, I don't know if the light output is going to be great at the bottom of the tank with only two - depends on what you want to keep. Worth mentioning: two Prime HDs is less total light output than a single t247, and a single Hydra 26 is less than that. The Hydra 64HD is more comparable to the output of a t247 fixture.

2 16 hds would be my choice.
I run 2 on my 20g 18" nano cube and its 95% sps. I run 3 on my 36x24x12 frag system.
Tank will be 4 months old tomorrow.
