Hey Guys,
I have a 55 gallon fish tank with a GFO/Carbon reactor and a Bio-Pellet reactor running to help bring down and/or control the phosphates and the nitrates in my tank. Both are setup correctly with no problems.

1st question is: How long will take before I see results. It's been running for about 4 weeks for my GFO and about 2 days for bio-pellets?

2nd question is: I tested my RODI water and it has phosphate in it, so how I get rid of it from my RODI water is there a cartridge I could buy?

As of today my water tests were:

PH 7.9-8.0, Ammo 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5.0, Alk 7, Phosophate .25, no Copper,

if you keep adding it from your water you will have a lot of trouble getting it down. you shouldn't have it in your rodi water. what is the tds? maybe time for new di resin and prefilters or even a membrane

.25 of phosphates are not bad..

I've head if you run bio pellets there is no reason to run a GFO reactor.

How old are the filters in your RODI system. What are the levels in your RODI system?

My TDS meter is 2-3 on my RODI water and my RODI unit is about 4 months old and used about 5 times. I store my water in a brute 35 gallon trash can.
