My tank is mostly hair algae... the stuff just won't die. Corals don't seem to mind though. I'm hoping the foxface I have coming next month eats some of it...
Mine decimated the hair algae in my tank. Gonna have to feed Nori and sea veggies now.

Part of what spurred my Dino’s was a bryopsis battle and then a cyano battle… I did not realize for the longest time my green hair algae was actually bryopsis. when I treated everything started spiraling but now we’re back on track

Urchin, best eaters of hair algae out there IMO. Foxface did wonders on my bubble. And now i have dinos a wee bit of dinos, dont know how thats possible given my giant UV and nutrients though

Yeah I battled dinos too and there is no black and white as to why it occurs yet.

Certain things seem more likely to cause it but still. They are annoying for sure.

Too many species UV isn’t ideal for all of them so I dosed Microbacter 7 and brought my nutrients up at the same time kind of a kitchen sink approach

Depends on the dinos. Some species have little shells that protect them from UV
