$20,000 Dream Build for sale!

So after spending all summer piecing together my “dream build” Mother Nature has decided to get in the way and flooded our house out last month. We have been fighting with insurance since then and am now at the conclusion that flood insurance is nothing more than a scam($20,000 in personal property damage plus the damage to the house at another $15,000) as they gave us a check for $7500!

so my dream is now going to be used to rebuild our house that has had the walls cut out since early...

Sorry to hear about your situation. FYI, there are people that can possibly help you. I belive they are called a public adjuster. Basically the same as an insurance adjuster for the home owner.

I learned about this about 15 yrs ago I had a tree crash down on the front of my home, pip a hole in the roof, let water in and buckled by pergo floors. Think they wanted to give me about 6500, argued with them and they eventually gave me around 15k. I didn't use the public adjuster, fought them on my own.
