Again the Diesel tank will be stocked late fall with tons of SPS That I had growing before.
Will introduce a new method of nutrient and element dosing.
Of course the NMB will be improved and the nutri-vibe will have a new kind of media.
Just to figure out if I will do AWC or buckets.
I got all equipment include Palmer-cole pumps for that.
Sounds good, can't wait to see you back in the SPS world, where you really belong to ;-)

Ok, what is NMB for ???

Fudge as a Miracle/Fiji Mud bed in the sump or do you mean Refugium with Algae as for the full Triton method sumps?

Ben, this is my sump. The fuge is actually a separate component. T'd off from the return pump. Returns to the return portion of my sump and there is also an emergency drain.
First pic in my stand all plumbed up.
Second pic on Jeff's work bench.

So yesterday afternoon when everyone normally works I was watching on the redneck cabin my favorite team beat the west coast Giants.... again, which is always a good thing :p

After the happy end I fed the the fish as usual some frozen food.
During the late evening I noticed that some of the infernos all kinda deflated, no big deal as that Not the first time.
About a hour when the lights went off I noticed a weird smell so I checked the sump area.
The skimmer was pulling out all kinds of white stuff .
On that point I took my Azure bleu flashlight to inspect the tank and  it was all cloudy :(
Zero visabilty up to 6” away o_O
I checked the whole system and couldn’t find anything wrong with it.
Cleaned the skimmer and the smell was not like your regular skim nasty stink, it was more like something was dying.
All fish were in their sleeping bunks so I couldn’t check on them or test the water
Corals were all upset of course.
I ordered new test kits as I haven’t been testing this tank for 18 months as no WS for the same amount of time maybe longer.
I noticed that the rock where I have 4 infernos on (yes they split every other month or so :)) and they were all gone.
Checked all four Vortech as on this point I thought they went on a kamakazi tour but nothing.
I had to look from the top as through the glass I had no vision
I kept inspecting but no revail on what it might or could be.
So by 2am I went to bed as I had to leave at 5am for a meeting.
Now I’m home for about a hour and the infernos are cuddled back on the rock.
Corals looking a little stressed imo but fish are just there to eat my money again.
Can we all agree that I had either a bac bloom or my infernos got hot and spawned all at the same time.
I will never know other than a slightly cloudy tank for my Wednesday evening.

I guess going back to the redneck cabin for a beer and ballgame ;)

Hey, as a giants fan I gotta say your team is playing pretty good ball. It was an entertaining game though. Bumgartner put a pretty good block on the guy coming to the plate.
Look forward to seeing your new approach with the sps tank.

It was a sweep but they brought a good game to the plate.
Both starting pitchers had a no desision.
The Stros need to go after Crawford as I think he will only get better.
