I know a guy who might want an inferno at some point  Tank is looking good, Ben! I'll be following along as you transition back to SPS. I still remember seeing that beauty in person. One of my favorite tanks ever!

I still can’t believe that you didn’t want to stay for dinner, some Duchxas was on the menu that day, a mix of Dutch and Texas food.
Still remember that I was eating alone that night as my whole family bailed out  even the dogs

Everybody is willing to buy stuff low of me.
Indo corals are a hot item nowadays.
You can find the corals by Spectra Corals soon.

How did you hang your ATI Fixture?

Doesn't look like you used the hanging kit?

No I didn’t.
I’m super handy and it’s a free floating aluminum 80/20 frame.

Got it.

Looks like you used the same 80/20 frame from when you had LEDs.

I'm assuming you drilled 4 holes into the ATI and bolted 4 screws into the 80/20 frame?

Thanks for the convo

Slightly modified but yes the carrying weight was off the main 80/20’s.
The ATI hybrid I had was the largest on the books and put out I believe 100lb include the bulbs.

Perfect thanks for answering my questions!

Last one. Did you drill holes in the middle of the fixture?

I have a 60 in ati with 60 in reef Brites on both sides and I think it would be better to also bolt the middle of the fixture and also the 4 corners of the fixture.

Thanks again!

Nope, didn’t drill any holes.
The fixture has some kind a structural frame that it hangs on, if you drill a hole in the skin around it you run the chance to put a pulling weight on the fixture where it could damage it.

Than a simple light is like hanging a picture frame :p

I used the hanging kit that went over the 80/20.
Didn’t used the cable just the loop.
