First tank....started in December. my husband and I are enjoying the process so much that we just picked up a nano tank as well so we both have projects each night!
Could not have gotten this far (or even had the right water in it) without all the exceptionally helpful reefers here!!

1 astrea per 2 gallons, 60+.
I have 2 emeralds that I know of.
I removed 4-5.
They caused some sps issues so I removed the ones I could get.
Still a few hermits too.
Its been about 6 months without any issues from the crabs.
I would take them all out if I could catch them.

Here’s my tank as of a bit over 2 weeks ago. 2020 has been a fun ride for my tank. Hopefully 2021 will be a continuation!

It’s a Fuji cube 81g. The lights are actually ReeFi Duo Extremes but are fitted to use the XR mounts.

Excellent use of structure to utilize the height of the aquarium. Just the right amount in my opinion. Really like it.

Here is my 300DD. It's in a transition phase (and cloudy in this pic)... had to chop down a lot of staghorn biomass and start from scratch on a few colonies. Also scraped a ton of coralline off the back wall as it was flaking off in huge chunks and looking like a ragged old sheep lost in the wilderness. :0)

I spend quite a bit of time in the aquascape forum giving my opinions out.
drives me crazy when people say, "don't go too high. leave room for growth." when the op didn't say, and those giving that advice didn't ask "what corals do you intend to keep?". too high? no such thing.

I like what you got going. wish I had thought out more my wall layout before proceeding. I had a door in the way that "prevented" me from putting in a 8' tank. I should have took the door next to the tank out and redid the wall.
there's a secondary door accessing the fish room around the corner.
