Thanks for checking it out runs exactly this way:

vase from wal mart

inverted plastic dish from garden center, exact fit when inverted to the inner diameter vase neck portion. Cut grommet holes through the lid for air incoming, backup battery power air line normally off, and heater line which is cut/ran through grommet and re spliced back. This is a cleaner evaporation seal than cutting a classic easy notch in the lid


air can now be pumped in for circulation, and inner diameter fit means no salt creep or splatter. Controls evaporation better than any reef on this board including 300 gallon ones, if I want to make top off last 10 days on a vacation (slow down evaporation rate) the air can be metered down to much slower. Dynamic evaporation control all from wal mart with the little airline knobs…

use any mix of water it doesn’t matter, only testing is salinity and temp. Feed well, stock heavy with corals, rip clean the tank as needed by variables (take it apart, wash out the sandbed, put back clean) and it will live with no coral disease and no biological lifespan limit. Nerfballs should be banned within a six block radius of any reefbowl as well as indoor micro drone races etc

and cats, ban them in general
