Slow and steady, lol. Reef tanks are a LOT more work than a FOWLR as I've learned the past 9 months. 15+ years of old school FOWLR husbandry practices was completely rebooted for me. Hopefully the zoa dominated setup I'm planning will look radically different in a year from now!

it’s not much but I am happy to have had success with my first reef. It’s almost 1 year old now. Anemones growing and splitting like crazy now. Zero testing and almost no water changes. No QT. No fish death or sickness, I did lose some corals but I understand what I did wrong in each case. I got a set of Hanna checkers for Christmas so in 2022 I am hoping to up my coral game significantly.

the big goal is to move this 36 gallon reef into its new 120gallon container! (And remove the camel shrimp/pencil urchin when I do, jerks)
