I am in the process of gathering equipment for my new and first salt water tank which will be a 210 (73x24x29) tank. I currently have 2 Neptune WAV pumps and an ecotech L1 for return. Will this be enough for a tank this size or should I look at adding 2 more power heads?

I will assume ecotech L1 will be located in the cabinet sump? if so then the return pump (3100 gph) is more than enough for a 210. I usually aim for about 5 x the display volume for my return. When I had my 210 I used a Mag 1800 gph and after headloss it was a bout right. As far as in tank circulation I don't know anything about the WAV pumps but flow will be dependant on what type of system you are going to keep ie, fish only, FOWLR, softies, LPS, SPS or mixed reef, all will have differing flow requirements.

Yes dialing the pump down is a nice feature to have. That and you could also make a manifold for reactors, uv or other devices and not need to worry about using multiple pumps to support them.
