How is your sump setup again? What is your maintenance like?
Still not fully set up it’s just a plastic chambered sump with a part for the slimmer a refugium and the return pump as far as maintaining I don’t really do much I have an auto top off I add calcium and trace elements everyday that’s about it :)

Time for a long awaited update my friend.

Also, do you notice much difference in colors between a purple haddoni and purple mertensii? Especially more in the 16-20K spectrum/colors?

Thank you I’m waiting on some nems to settle in right now it’s like musical anemone spots in the tank. I added 6 new gigantea carpets and they’re still trying to find their places :) I will post some pics soon, there’s a lot in there lol

Some update pics I know it’s been awhile I wanted to color up my coral a bit more before I posted any pics but it’s looking nice so I might as well. I will be adding more nems as I find the exact colors I want. And also fish there’s only 2 in there right now a purple tang and a hippo tang.

My one big tank has now turned into 3 tanks on one sump. There’s the 220 gallon sps/ magnifica and bubble tip tank with a show Mertans in the middle. A 90 gallon refuge tank and a 60 gallon haddoni tank. Here are some pics

There is definitely some quartz sand in there! Nice eye! But I have a mix of all sorts of sand from all my tanks over the years. There’s a little bit of everything probably :,)
