The previous owner states the seals have always been like this. Would it make sense to leave it alone or to go ahead with the weld on 40 on the seams?someone didn't do the best job when welding the panels and it's not like glass where you can just apply new silicone and 'reseal' them, you can however add Weld-On 40 to the seams. if it doesn't leak.........it's likely good to go.
i'd fill it (in a location where if a seam leaks or splits it's not a catastrophe) and see if they leak. if they don't leak, there's no need to weld-on 40 them.
