DANG bro! That’s insane.

Got my first torch today:

A Lemon Lime Indo. :D

Still a little tucked away? Because I just added it. :)

Yessir! Can’t wait until it opens up. :)
I would move it a little further away from the hammer. Torches can get 6+” sweepers and hammers and torches don’t get along (they’re no longer in the same genus). But it’s a great looking torch!

@MERKEY, so the torch is doing great. The tentacles on this side (the side that the flow in coming in on) however are tucked away. Is this because it’s too much flow? Or is otjust getting settled?

Is that the side that's closest to the hammer?

No. Ok, so the torch is on the cup it came in, I just flipped it around so it stands up. It’s a good distance away from the hammer, as it’s raised.

I know I do problems need to move it away from the hammer, but that location is perfect flow and light as I’ve found with the hammer.

I was thinking maybe it’s because that’s where the flow hits it? (The flow sort of goes in a circle around my tank)

Could be too much direct flow.

Take it off the cup and see if it likes it more.
Will do. Probably will end up doing that first thing in the morning, because the tank is already blacked out.

How do you mount your torches? Do you glue them to rocks? Or do you have a frag rack?

Start on frag racks low for a bout a week or 2 then glue where I want them. If they look unhappy they get moved lol

Right now I’m running out of space for frags on the sand bed. My light still isn’t hung yet (turning into @fishguy242  ) so my space for direct light is very limited.

Maybe I should get a small transparent frag rack for now?

Maybe I should move the gold and pink palys up near my big colony? The big colony really seems to like it up there, so maybe it will encourage growth.
