Next step
Wall thickness is 30cm
It is a new office building in a hall
The tank is on the first floor in my office
The bottom is 30cm of steel and concrete
5cm more than without the tank. A few hundred kilo more of steel. I thought a tank in the 1st floor is a problem but it does not.

Wow, this is getting amazing! Are you using the space right to the tank for the equipment?

Hi Torben,

are you sure with the reduction of the window size. I made the exact same thing to hide the pumps but then removed it afterwards. Pumps are now on the back site ;). Just talking about 1000 liter though :D

Yes I am sure
I prefer a 1,25m cycle / bullseye to reducing work for cleaning glass and hiding techniques. It is concrete so I can't remove it afterwards

Hello Salties

Office tank is on process now. Frame work for glass pane is done. Core drilling for supply and exhaust air is done. Today we clean the walls, botton and ceiling to start tomorrow with the epoxy work. Skimmer is ready for pick up on Friday. Glass pane arrived a few weeks ago.

2500 SPS frags waiting in the coral nursery. After moving into the new tank I will frag my big corals from my 5500 Liter tank so I have 2500 SPS again. If everything goes as planned I'll end up with 5000 corals plus many big Montipora caps that have to broke into little pieces also. So all coral have the same tiny size. Every 5 cm or 2inch I want to place a frag. After two years I hope to have an fully grown reef.
