Hi all, I was out of the hobby for some time. About 2 months ago I adopted a well established and very neglected biocube (it was difficult to even see through the glass). The previous owner was going through major medical issues and was having a hard time juggling personal health and the tank so, my wife and I decided to help out. Not having a place for it, we put it in our utility room in the basement. Not ideal to enjoy it but, ideal to get it back in stable condition (water changes) by being so close to utility tub. The corals were used to that environment so it took a while to get them happy again. Not happy with rock scape but I had to have it this way due to the existing coral placement.
Have 2 clowns and a diamond sleeper goby. The sleeper goby in my opinion was the best investment that we made for this tank, he has cleaned the sand(tank was a mess for about a week) and he eats frozen, pellets and flake food
Even though it was rough getting it to the correct parameters, it was worth it! We will be looking into a larger AIO in the future.
Thanks all
