I am a slacker for sure, on both fronts. But look at me, I followed directions and got it back. They obviously didn't listen to you very well. Shows how much pull you have ;Hilarious

Bravo!

Found it courtesy of @dbl

Go to your profile and then account details. https://www.reef2reef.com/account/account-details

Toward the bottom there is a spot to put the link to your build thread. After doing so and saving, the banner is there and it's also a link to the thread.

Ok, so some honest opinion here. Again trying to use what I have to make an awesome tank. Because of the design on the back I can only fit one of my ethearls. But on the side I can fit both. How bad does it look on the side of the tank? Also some pics of the back of the tank to see why I can’t use both on the back.

Ok, so I've been dragging my feet getting the last couple of items. Between the covid situation and the oil price war the price of oil is bad. I'm not worried about my job, as far as oil field jobs I have a pretty reliable one. However, I will be penching pennies for a while. I did order the last piece I needed to get this tank going. I needed a new heater and have one and a controller on the way. Eventually I will get my apex going again but no for a little bit. I'm hoping next week I can fill the tank up.

Little area is mostly done. I will hide the ATO under the shelf on the left and the cabinet will house my controller and dosing containers.

I like the shelving with the pipes! My OCD wants you to move the tank to the center, but since you can't, it wants you to move it to the left, beside the opening. lol Tank is looking good. :)

We actually talked about that but since it would require making a whole new shelf and smaller shelves we decided against it. I agree it might look better centered with anther shelf. However the cabinet on the right will do a better job of hiding equipment.

Sorry folks, progress is slow and steady on this. It's a balance of school, work around the house, work and the tank. I got the light hanging kits but the wife didn't want to hang them from the ceiling. So I found some wood around the house and built this. I still have to stain it and seal it but I think it will work pretty well.

The lights could be deleted out from vision with 6" x 1" finished pine, stained to match. I did something similar with my canopy. Which I built as well. Love seeing the diy

I’ve considered this but haven’t decided if I was going to. Well see how I feel about it later.

Didn’t do much tonight. I got some of my pumps out to see if anything had froze up on me. My varios 2 did but a little vinegar and it cranked right up. Both of my reactor pumps are working fine. But, the reactors don't fit next to my sump. I’m going to have to figure something out for that. My sump is a building an obsession sump and it’s fantastic. However, it takes up most of the room in the stand. I love cubes but I’m understanding the complaints about the stands. This whole project may come to a temporary stop. my local college is offering a 5 week semester since so many students (not me) are staying home. I am taking advantage of it and knocking a class out. With three classes already and work, I figure my tank and fishing trips will be taking a 5 week break. But I’ll work on it every chance I get.

Can u share a pic of ur reactors and sump? I love logistics. Hope u figure it out and still end up happy with the sump layout overall.
