Awesome. I ordered an American Aquariums custom 185 gallon about a month ago. Adam has been just great to work with and excited to see your build. I think your tank is posted either on their site or FB account. Congrats!

How's it coming along? I finally got my tank. Slow process on the build of it for awhile.

Hey HighChiefKC, that's great to hear! My tank is coming along great. First fish will be out of QT and in the display this weekend :) (pics forthcoming)

That is some amazing plumbing work! I am jealous of everything on this build.

Thanks.

Where do you have the return line from the UV going? Have you started running it yet?

Did you have your returns drilled into the top of the tank to prevent backflow, as opposed to having them drilled into the back?

I have the return from the UV going into the sump via a vinyl tubing line (not shown in prior photos)

Beautiful setup!!!!!

Thanks.

I had intended to have a Naso tang and Convict tang also, but sadly lost both in QT.

Oh man that’s a bummer. Do you know why? What’s in the tank now?

I ordered them online - I think they just came in with health issues they could not recover from. Currently in the tank is three blue-green chromis, three lyretail anthias, a vlamingi tang, a melanurus wrasse, and a pajama cardinal.
