I have 1.25" wooden dowel mounted to canopy with stainless steel U bolts. Mount just slides on, light is gravity fit onto mount. cheap easy and sturdy. enjoy.

How do you keep it from swiveling with the wires hanging out the back?

That looks great and like a good option!

You should have made the frame near the diodes cut away so they didn't interfere with the light spread. looks good

The wire is pretty light and is not causing any swiveling.
