I've not used the mini+ but if it's anything like the mk3s it's probably a solid machine. Depending on what you're trying to model and print a program like fusion360 might be a better bet than blender.
Thanks! I'll have a look at fusion360. I don't mind paying for something that works and is easy to use.

I use Fusion360 and the free version is fine for most use cases. The paid version has some extra stuff like converting meshes (STL files, for example) to solid bodies and the simulation module. I find I I want to use both of those modules but not for the price they ask for the features.

The mini is 7x7x7 and the mk3 is 9.84"×8.3"×8.3", now my question is, is that 2.84x1.3x13 a lot when it comes to printing?
Being 100% honest I don’t know a whole lot about them except you can’t print some cool things, and my kid is super into it now too.

Really depends on wha you are printing. For small parts etc., it's just fine. But if you are printing things like 3D terrain or wearable items that are large (like cosplay items), they won't fit.

But knowing how well the mini works and from what I hear, the MKS3+ is even more reliable (due to it's direct drive design), I would go for the MKS3 if I could. But I will say the Mini is a fine printer for 90% of my printing needs.

recently ReefDude did a video on the new clarisea sk5000 and it included a filter roll removal tool. I commented on his video and requested a couple dimensions so I could make my own for my gen 2 rollers. So I uploaded to thingiverse if anyone every needs it. Still waiting for the roll to empty out so I can use it, but it's simple enough.

Gives me a 404 error.

I have, I think it’s pretty dope, but I’m not taking my trident apart to try it, and I don’t know if my mini could even print it.
Well then I guess I’m in a unique place because I had to take my trident apart today to fix a no water sample error. These are pretty simple machines and I’m confident I can fix any piece it. I think I’ll throw this on the Prusa and see how it goes! It all looks reversible if it doesn’t work out.
