Has anyone done a 3D printed cable clip that's magnetic? I run a wavemaker lower down in my reef and even the ones up high have the cable bulging up and over the Eurobrace.

I hate suction cups because they let go and round isn't a form factor I want to see along straight lines if glass.

Someone needs to make a sleeve, maybe 1.5 inches long, preferably rectangular or triangular that can fit in the crease of the glass that's magnetic.

I'd slip multiple of them on the cable and have them hug cables really flush against the glass. Because this pic is what we are dealing with. Lol.

I think your idea has merit. What's the thickness of your glass? Cable diameter? I just bought a pile of magnets for various 3d printing projects. I would be willing to design something as this is a similar issue for myself as well.

I'm half inch thick and whatever the cable thickness of jebao and other powerheads are. I'm glad you share my pain. I saw Ricks suggestion and I like it but it'd be cool to have something streamlined and almost invisible.

Im not sure if my idea makes sense after Ricks post but I meant something really sleek, black and maybe an inch to inch and a half wide that has a magnetic back.

Kinda like the pic with long slim magnets to match the outside.

I'm not sure the AWG (gauge) of Jebao powerhead wires. I'd have to get something to check. I think DC wavemaker wire gauge might be standard. Most of my wires, including my gyre has the same thickness.

I have a jebao slw-20 laying around, might be the same?

Where did this end up going? I was just looking to design the same thing for a wavemaker on Max Nano, but figured someone else already made the STL file.

What would probably be the easiest to design and make is a case for the magnet with a hole in it that the zip tie with the Christmas tree on the base could push into.
