I have a 4 week old
tank my parameters are:

dkh: 10-11
Ph 7.70-7.75
Salinity 34
SG 1.026
Phosphates .3
Nitrates 45
Ammonia 0
Temp 77.5f

While my alkalinity is where I want it I just can’t get the ph up.I’m Changing 50% water per week using tropic marin reef salt. Opening the windows as much as possible.
Was thinking of dosing very small amounts of Kalk to get the ph up. I don’t want to boost my alkalinity though.

inhabitants are:
2 purple fire fish
6 line wrasse
Melanarus wrasse

2 fire shrimp
2 skunk cleaners

5 red legged hermits
5 Trocus snails

2 mp10 powerheads
60% flow in gyre during light period
30% flow constant during dark setting

1 xr 15 pro Gen 4
Schedule

30% power 100% blue 2% clear white 1 hour
30% power 100% blue 5% clear white 1.5 hours
60% power 100% blue 5% clear white 7 hours
30% power 100% blue 5% clear white 1.5 hours
30% power 100% blue clear white 1 hour

My goal is to start coralline algae.

I want to get my ph up to 8.3 because I think with the rest of my parameters I would be fine. I keep reading that tanks that dose Kalk have the best coralline algae growth. Is it way too early?

I bet kalk will shoot up your alk. FWIW I started light dripping of kalk on my first reef for a coralline boost and to dial in ca and alk, but this was 20 years ago with real fresh live rock which had good coralline growth already.
