Got a treatment going in 1 of my tanks right now for GHA. This Wednesday will be 5 weeks of treatment and the end of treatment(all GHA is gone). At that time I will run activated carbon and Friday do a 20% water change(this tank gets a 20% water change every Friday-10 gallon Nano with no skimmer). Also during the 5 weeks of treatment every Friday when I did a water change I re-dosed- the complete dose( you really can't overdose Fluconazole.

OP-- how's your treatment going---new pictures?
I just posted them and my plan going forward. Nothing looks to be changing much, or maybe I am just not noticing.

Day 15. Took the photos with whites only so you can get an idea of both how bad my issue is and how the fluconazole didn't work on dose #1. Skimmer running today, water change + manual removal tommorow, and the day after that we start the next treatment.

I started treating my tank with fluconazole. The printed instructions recommend 9mg/Litre for bad green algae problems. What is your dosage?

Weird. Mine definitely got rid of both hair algae and bryopsis.

I got:
an Urchin
Many trochus snail and spiny astrea snails
a mix of other reef safe snails

I did a course of Fluconasole - it annihilated the bryopsis (I have not done any water changes until it was nearly completely dead, but I did not have much of it so experience may vary).
And I did a course of vibrant

The effect is that I lost nearly 90% of my snail population due to starvation, urchins have CLEARED the tank to the bare rocks and I am trying to get some algae growing back because I'm worried about the tang and blennies not getting the veggies in. I feed them nori all day long to compensate
