Follow up
I emailed Seachem and received a prompt reply
Stability - will often cause cloudiness & can have a slight brown tinge
It's not harmful & will clear

So
Rowa changed
1ltr carbon running will change in 4 days
Uv running medium flow
Doing 90ltrs a day auto wc
Heating 1500lts for a 40% water change if not cleared in the next few days

Fish happy. Eating. Active. No losses. No aggression
Can't thank everyone enough for the help yesterday
I had a brain drain moment

It's funny , I am an extremely confident reefer with things I know
Until
Your so emotionally attached then you just don't seem to think straight

Honestly
Your good people. Thank you

Sure they do! The water isn't clear at the majority of beaches you go to, or at least in Florida

well the cycle ended day 13
So did the diatoms - my god they are ugly
Having a few issues with flow that's slowly being resolved by trial & error and it's getting better
Unfortunately with the diatoms over appears I am hitting the trust gha stage
I am shocked at how quickly it's appeared

The LEDs & new skimmer arrived
No fish loses to date except powder blue wouidbt eat no matter what we tried
All happy and have returned to full health

Here's a quick video of the lights lifts
It's super quiet
Stops 7cm above tank & 2cm from
Roof
Very impressed with the pulzar
Led for a 5cm wide strip it packs a punch

I'm sorry if I missed it, but how did you achieve the light lift? Would like to replicate for my new setup.

Thanks,

That light-lift is _impressive_!

Lucky you to have diatoms supplanted by green algae - I've got green algae growing in, and diatoms still in full force! (>_<)

Oh god that's awful
They are the most ugly part of the cycle
I am hoping my tangs will devour most of it.
Good luck hope it passes soon

No. Don't understand all that technical stuff
I think prob too much light of had to chose
I am trying to cut the electric costs by only running T5's 6 hrs a day full power and the other 4 hrs at a much lower % topped up
with the LEDs
I have no corals at the moment
Once I start getting good numbers will start putting together a mixed reef again.
I still get sad everyday at the colonies I lost
What was your reasoning for your question ?
Are you thinking not sufficient ?
