No, the eggs we use for salad are not fertile. I know it's a joke and all. But seeing my mom eat ballot made me vomit. It's just nasty.
I had some friends try and talk me into eating it. they failed.

Update time! My sbb coral box came yesterday and oh man was it a biggun. 14 in all.
Here's them floating, covered by a paper towel because Mobius was being prissy and not connecting to the tank.

Probably didn't need to dip, but good habits are good so I pulled some water from the tank after floating and put everything in a 10 gallon qt tank I cleaned up for the occasion

The rack I made for these was too small...need to find another home for some of them after work tonight and I will be reading about goni aggression today. Everyone else I got should be chill.

The one that didn't fit... Moments are placing it, it's the brightest thing in the tank!

Just got back from camping:
IMG_20220820_134438317_HDR.jpg

With a completely reasonable amount of local honey:
@Stang67 it's a gallon jar.
IMG_20220821_144335945_HDR.jpg

To no losses in the tank. Pretty happy about that. I didn't expect any, but always nice to see everyone alive.

And a very happy puppy:

Today may be a planning day for coral placement and overall tank locations. We will be rearranging the living room and that will include new stands for the 75 (fw) and 40 (this thread), new sumps for the two and maybe a rescape, maybe not though.

That's quite a haul of honey.

You make mead? I feel like I need to add on a new hobby.
It's not too hard. temp should be controlled but you could otherwise easily make some with floor space in a closet. I got in to beer brewing about 10 years ago, and mead was somewhere in the background too. The wife gets more excited about the mead though, she's Scandinavian.

I will be sending more honey but not that much. You could try it!
And you can get a bottle in return, that definitely won't be mead because it's prohibited to ship alcohol between states. So it definitely won't be mead, just watch how much you have and try not to drive after.
