I wanted some more variety in the fuge, IPSF to the rescue. Added amphipods, ulva, crabs, mini stars, and some other critters to the sump. 20190206_190222.jpg

I also added their Reefworms.

BattleBox arrived bright and early this morning. I definitely got my money's worth, adding up the prices on the BC site is more than double what I paid. Thanks again Adam!

Where did you put your heater in your sump? I've been eyeing a TS26 sump but wasn't sure where to put the heater and whether the heater would fit horizontally across the 15" of the sump or if I'd have to place it diagonally to make it fit.

The Eheim heater is next to the skimmer, this wouldn't work with a larger skimmer. Let me know if you have any other questions about this sump, it's been great but with it being kind of compact, equipment options can be limited by size.

I didn't see the urchin for a couple days, I guess it was under the rocks collecting new shells.

Fuge is shaping up, I changed the Kessil setting from grow to more red, it's between bloom and grow now. I'm guessing the macro like it due to the jump in pH.

Inching closer! Since the tank will be stocked by with only Battlecorals, I went with the LED they use. So far so good, this Reefbreeder is way quieter than the ATI and Radions I've had before.

You know what I thought it was me being picky my tank is my my room so I try to keep everything as silent as possible and my Radions are the only thing you can hear those fans are mighty loud

The tank is in my office and I'm on the phone a lot, quiet is at the top of my list. The ATI Powermodule is silent, when I first got it I'd check to make sure the fans were running, it's that quiet. The ReefBreeders was almost silent, I could barely hear the fans kick on.

I had a Nanobox hybrid on a prior setup, it was based on an ATI Sunpower and that sucker was LOUD.

Did you put something in the fuge section of your sump to prevent algae from getting into your skimmer/return? Looks like an eggcrate?

You got it exactly right! Since I added that, no more algae in the skimmer. As great as the skimmer has been working, it will work even better now that I cleaned it and removed the 3 snail shells and chaeto from the pump

Phyto production is greatly outpacing my usage. I got another 32oz today, and still have 32 oz from last week. Anyone in the Charlotte area need phyto?

Had some ugly algae, maybe even dinos, show up for a couple weeks. Ulva and UV seem to be knocking it out.

Corals are doing well, I'll probably put them in the rock tomorrow. The Mollie Miller may need to go on a diet... 20190309_154733.jpg

Corals glued to rocks, I'm telling myself to not order more until these grow some more... 20190315_155024.jpg

600i still working great, but a little smelly. Suggestions on how to tame the smell?

I'm trying the bag of carbon, it can't hurt and I have it around.

I've been thinking about adding additional fish and am looking for captive bred recommendations to go with:
2 clowns
Indigo dottyback
Mollie Miller blenny
3 lemon damsels
Yellowline goby
