I need a valve. 1 1/4 return without anything restricting it lets it run too efficiently and even the lowest setting empties the return chamber. Will a pvc ball valve work to restrict flow slightly?

20 L QT up and running. An old sunsun canister is providing the filtration with some fluval biomax and floss inside. Yet to add some pvc hiding places.

Also tweaked my salt mix and ended up with about 1.025 SG. That’s the number I’d like to maintain.

Also found this bad boy for $32. Not the best but even if it’s decent it’s worth he price.
