I went from that to a 65 then back to the 46. Decided I wanted more depth and a 4 foot tank to open up more possibilities so ended up with a 90.I drilled the back of this one and altered the stand it came with so I could fit a 29 under it. Hopefully it works out haha I want a bigger tank (have a 60 tall), but it’s hard to decide a good mid size lol.
It is pricey for sure. I bought my stuff over 4 years, mostly due to kids and life but it really helped to spread out the cost lol. I went with the aquaticlife t5 hybrid and kessils. I bought the shorter rails to make the unit 16 wide instead of 18. On a 120 a 6 bulb hybrid would be great if they ever come out with one.120 was what I was thinking if I get another.....but lighting a 120 doesn’t sound very fun hahaha I’ve looked at reefbreeders and some maybe lumi lights or oreck or3s to supplement but my god it’s still gonna end up being super expensive hahaha....then I started thinking, 120gallons of salt, 120 additives hahahaha idk if I like ramen noodles that much anymore.
I know what you mean now lol I got a flipper and it kind of bounces hahaha I have to go really slow and at certain angles....probably the first and last curved tank I get lolI like it. Had a 46 bow as my first reef tank, sumpless and skimmer less though. Beautiful tank and a lot you can do with it.
The only thing I hated was cleaning the bow. Thr curve on the front glass made even the best scrapers time consuming and a PITA for calcified algaes lol.
