I like my Infinia frag 4 foot tank. I’m planning to go with a decent bio-load with a good number of small fish and a couple of larger fish. The three fish I have so far swim in the same corner waiting for me to feed them so I’m not sure I buy the whole “tank is smaller than the ocean” argument. Fish act differently in captivity. I do agree get as big of a tank as you can. I’m really happy with the waterbox frag height but I know it’s different for everyone. I have always been attracted to shallow reef tanks my entire time in the hobby, probably because when I first started shallow tanks were very uncommon i. The early 2000’s. I also like I can reach the entire tank for maintenance without special tools besides my hands. I also like the 80-90 gallon volume because it’s easier to do water 10% water changes and dose. Also lighting and flow prices will increase with deeper and longer tanks.
