Been a while since I posted on here but I’m going to another not so local LFS (2 hour round trip) and possibly coming home with some frags.
I have my eye out for something specific in my Nano, not yet got an idea of what I’d love in my 4’ tank yet though, only know I’d like some more stony coral.
Here’s a photo I got of my cleaners (Seems the golden dwarf has more might in him than we expected as he has taken the cave the cleaners used to stay in).

Also got a photo of a young Ricordea Yuma (Obviously there’s more than one but those ones are all hidden under the carpet of Yuma).

Well, I didn’t get anything for my 4’ tank but the nano has gained 3 new things, anyone following the wrasse lovers thread will have had a sneak peak, he’s in the tank now and I got some great photos of him.

How this guy has managed to go unnoticed by my Jade confuses me! She pecks at almost every snail and crab that enters the tank so I figured she may peck at this guy but he’s managed to go under the radar some how.

I think its the claws. I had a dotty back that went after everything except one of these guys.

I’d be surprised - I had a regular Coral Banded (Over here known as a Boxer Shrimp) that was wiped out clean by my Radiant, CBB and Jade a while back.

Been a while and not much to update on so here’s a new pair of fish in my nano.
It’s a pair of Trimma species, I’m pretty sure on Tevegae.

Also got a few more photos of the large tank. Not great as it’s 11pm and everyone except the CBB and inverts are asleep.

Well this is ironic, I was going to post about how there’s not much to update about with an FTS however one trip to the LFS and £130+ later and I got 2 things, one for the 4’ and one for the nano. Both were worth it, unfortunately neither are fish and they’re both coral.

Stunning!
Thankyou, some of the fish are extremely hard to photo haha. Especially the Jade and radiant wrasses, they’re nightmares when the phone comes out.

An update on the species, both are T. tevegae and stunning to watch. Saw both eat frozen earlier and yesterday along with my Discordipinna griessinger I which was a surprise as D. griessingeri doesn’t actually eat frozen in most cases.

Wrasse photography is the pits, lol. I've resigned to short you tube clips now, lol. I could pull out the 35mm and set it up on a tripod, but thats work!

Enjoy some more photos of the kenya as it begins to open up. Hopefully I can keep this one growing nicely.

Oh man, definitely! Wrasse and Tang photography is the bane of my existence. Any other photo whether Angel, tilefish, anthias, foxface, butterfly, gobies ect… Easy as knocking on a door, tang and wrasses are just impossible.

I dig the kenya trees, im leaning towards a softie/zoa tank at this point.
Yes! Any leather is stunning. I wanted to grab a green toadstool but avoided it as it was Atleast 4 inch across and I wanted to get one coral for each tank so with the kenya in the 4’ I had to get a coral for my nano which ended up being a Montipora setosa to join a Montipora spongoides.

I’d love to find a proper blue or yellow Kenya to join this one on the isolation rock. Sinularia is another leather I love to watch, especially in the flow.

Thats my kenya tree, its growing like a weed with low to moderate flow and about 250 par. Put it in back in march after flukes outbreak, its grown about 3/4 of a inch overall and several of the lower branches came from nothing.

That’s stunning, closed up they look ridiculous but when you watch them open you can really watch how they look like a tree and have the polyps open up similarly to how leaves can grow on actual trees in summer.
I'd love a blue kenya, its on my short list. I do have a sinularia, smallish and temperamental as hell, but when its doing its thing its cool to look at.

That sinularia looks better than mine ever does. It’s finally started to get polyp extension but it doesn’t really do much else. These were 2 but eventually split and went their own ways but are still near eachother.
