Hi fellow reefers,
I switch on for the first time my new XR15 blue and 5 deep blue leds are not working...
Is there a solution to fix that without shipping the light back?
I live very far and shipping cost is very expensive.
thx!

because ecotech is a mess ! their ecosmartlive is a tech nightmare..instead of cranking out new gen of lights every so often-they should work on all the problems their current lights and website have...

Sorry, man. Fixing those LEDs would require reflow and/or replacement of individual LEDs. You can see that it's not the entire channel that is out, but only a part of the royal blue channel. Which can only mean either bad LEDs or bad soldering/assembly job. Given that the issue is on one side of the light, I'd bet that it's due to bad soldering.

They must still be under warranty. International shipping is likely expensive, but still cheaper than buying a brand new light. Make ecotech own their mistakes.
