Hi guys I will continue in this thread the new version of my tank, the tank has been mounted almost 2 years, but in the past I have had problems with metals and algae, after this I decided to make a black light for 8 weeks, retired old substrate, treated with Detox and a water change of 100%.

I will document all the steps of the tank in this thread, so they can give me advice. the tank is going to be destined to keep sps this is the current state of the tank.

I had a problem with my translation program, I wanted to say the following:

The equipment is simple:

- Lighting: ati pm 8x24
- skimmer: Nyos quantum 120
- Circulation: 2 x tunze 6045 1 x jebao sw2
- active carbon in the fluid reactor
- dosing machines jebao with red sea balling system

This is the first sps I have introduced, today a friend of mine gave it to me, is very healthy, my friend had a value of KH in his system of 5.6º, I hope you do not feel bad to adapt to my parameters.

the parameters of my aquarium are as follows:

kh: 7.3
Ca: 380
Mg: 1320
No3: 4
po4: 0.06

Today I put my peristaltic pumps to work, to keep everything correct and slowly raise the calcium to 420.

This week I started with some supplements:

- Microbelift TheraP Bacteria - 12,5ml biweekly
- Vibrant - 5ml biweekly
- Nopox red sea - 1ml/day I would like to lower my nitrates slowly to 1ppm, I would also like to maintain a good bacterial activity to avoid accumulation of organic matter.
- Seachem phytoplankton - 1ml/2 times a week It is the first week of dosing, I will start with low doses so that the system becomes accustomed and the population of life grow little by little.
- Carbon active - 50 ml running in reactor with slow flow, 24/7

Thanks for your time and advice.

This week I started to repopulate with some cuttings sps, as in his day comment the aquarium will be focused almost in its entirety to sps, and these have been the first candidates:

- Seriatopora caliendrum green
- Acropora desalwi

I will leave the acropora for a week in the sand bed, so that it becomes accustomed and the new lighting. this is the current state of the tank:

Let's introduce some new snails! we are slowly acclimatizing them for about 4 hours.

An old acanthastrea from a friend comes to our tank to recover, it is withered, but soon it will be perfect, a bath to release possible parasites and into.

I have added a few more fragments, it seems that everything is going very well, my nutrients are a little low and I will start to turn off the skimmer at night, in addition to adding some food supplements.

This is the general aspect, they still need time to adapt, everything seems to be going very well but I will be patient and not introduce new corals until the new year.
