Yeah, the 60's are mounted on the sides and then I have two gyres mounted vertically on either side of the overflow to get laminar flow behind the aquascape. I don't keep the 60's at max for long periods, though. They cycle intensity.
Where did you get your sand?

Working on the aquascape for the 100g 47x30x16 look down lagoon system. This system will have sand and smaller schooling type fishes and maybe a bristletooth type tang for their utility traits.
I was aiming for a open aquascape that I can have clear view from both viewing sides. Which scape configuration do you guys favor of the 3?

A lil update on the lagoon build. Filled her up to about 75% and started curing the rocks and bio media in it. Got another 8 weeks or so til my custom Geo sump arrives. Got some HG torches brewing up in qt as well.
