mandarin on another note. Finally saw a pod population in my tank. Went to clean the front thinking there was dried salt water on it and noticed those specs are moving! Yeah ecosystem

Ok SOO I wasn’t able to make a purchase on Cyber Monday but I did catch a couple items at WWCs after sale. I couldn’t help myself. These are the items I won

When I got my tank I order some rock from KP aquatics was super happy with it. Didn’t find many hitchhikers except a few small feather dusters a dead crab and some awesome looking sponges.
Well the other day I noticed some legs coming out of rocks. Ok so add a brittle star to that collection of hitchhikers!

Gold/orange I got it for the price of one head! Actually only cost me $30! It’s tiny though has a lot of catching up to do to my other hammer and my frogspawn

Things are okay. Dad is doing good. Over the worst part as of now. But I miss my tank. Thankful my boyfriend understands that I’m anxious about being away and is sending me pics and he understands my directions and isn’t afraid to ask questions

So on Tuesday my dad had a heart attack. The stents he had put in 7 years ago were blocked and he had two other blockages. His cardiologist that he trust was out till Tuesday. They couldn’t wait so they opted for stents on Friday (dad won’t let just anyone operate). Since his heart attack he has had problems with his vision, they believe it will return to normal but we will know more this afternoon. His stent surgery went well and he was able to come home Saturday.

I left town for two and half weeks and left my tank in the care of my boyfriend. His only job was to keep the fish and corals alive. From what I could see through the algae he succeeded. With the exception of my kenya tree. It’s not happy. Limp and won’t stand up. Ok I’m not mad about that though. I spent today pulling all my frags off the racks dipping and scrubbing. I pulled some of the rocks and scrubbed them. With the exception of two because I felt like that was enough for one day.
I still need to pick up more water. I need to mix water and do a water change (probably gonna do 20gal).

than I’m going to start dosing vibrant. I know this will probably kill all my macro in my fuge. But I can replace that.
