Female Mandarin. Her and the Male have yet to see each other on separate mountains :-( they’ll bump into each other.

They are eating NLS pellets out of the water column. No meats really as of yet. Saw the smaller one nibble on some floaty LRS.

All the MI still their. Sorry to hear about the butterflies. The tank definitely has changed A lot in the past 8 months. What exactly happened as the first big setback? How about like a quick update and timeline for the new guys. And us long terms who have forgotten

I’m in the process of a reset of sorts. Lost
My SPS a bit before the hurricane. 2 vectras went and I stayed with no return for two days on 2 separate occasions. I’m now replacing all vectras with a tiger shark pump which will likely be able to power manifolds, chiller and returns. I’ll have my hammerhead gold for closed loop. I still have the 3 wavs, 2 morning 60 and a Gyre 150 for internal circulation. May be reorganizing my lights as well. Waiting on my estimate for the whole house generator to avoid a hurricane Irma scenario. My generator did its job once I was able to set it up
But the storm was immense and it took time to hook up the generator. Anyhow the temp eventually got the survivors. Now I’ve started restocking. Almost done. Looking into bringing home my gold flake pair and Achilles and a crosshatch pair. That will be it for the 720 although I may add smaller anthias amd wrasses for color.

Added some gorgonians, clams, about 20 clown gobies both yellow and green and a peppermint hogfish. Installed the hammerhead to replace the 2 Vectra L1. The hammerhead now pumps the sump. Manifolds and closed loop. Still fine tuning everything as the flow nearly doubled. Could not get the tigershark to work so went with the hammerhead. anyhow some pics from today. Got a regal coming Wednesday and the goldflakes pair arrives on Tuesday of next week.
